BUSH FLYING IN AFRICA | KNYSNA
A start to a series that hopefully gets you out to the beautiful destinations that both South Africa and the rest of Africa have to offer. Throughout the series we will explore incredible scenery, visit popular airstrips and locations accessible bush aircraft.
I was not able to rely on such resources when trying to find all the places to go flying. Stop only flying around the patch or going for a breakfast, get out and explore the beauty that South Africa and the rest of Africa has to offer!

Headset on backwards?
Flown a KFA Explorer in Germany. Brilliant plane. Sold it to Sweden to finance a new Explorer with IS engine, Buffalo landing gear and carbon parts. Fully certified as a factory built 600 Kg. microlight / ultralight plane in Germany and other EU countries.

Excellent offering, looking forward to following the series. Your camera set up is great. I fly with 1x GoPro and it's not as nice as yours(maybe my GoPro is old). Nice to see the DSLR included. Maybe you can include something about your aircraft, something like an introduction to her, I see she's got a nice landing gear, but i don't know anything about specialized Alaskan Gear.

@ThomasMarrow :-) !! Was thinking gosh my SA geographical knowledge is bad! Such a great idea for the series. Do please consider Zambia in your future thoughts - my location - we have some amazing bush locations, just a CAA stuck in the dark ages when it comes to experimental aircraft. Am determined to change that over the next few years! Video from you visiting one or 2 locations might be the tonic we need!

love KFAs, my first fixed wing was the Explorer, with 912. The questions here is the reliability long term. Power is good, but for how long. Great video Thomas, as always.
Do you know of any flight schools that rent out the KFAs? I'd like to try fly the explorer on my next visit to Joburg later this year.
We have a flight school at KFA called Bushflying Africa. We can do some flying with you but unfortunately due to insurance restriction we do not do HF. We can still have a lot of fun.
